Short Bio: Born to James and Francine La'Croix, Penny was the youngest of three children. Her family was ridiculously wealthy, which played a big role in the reason she's such a spoiled bitch today. Unlike most mutants, Penny discovered and mastered her talents at the very early age of four. Who needs friends when you can duplicate yourself 6 times? She definately gave the term "playing with myself" a new meaning. Obviously her parents weren't shocked at the fact they've conceived another mutant. Their two older children were also born with the mutant gene as well.
Penny;s family was extremely well at keeping their powers a secret. Sometimes when Penny would use her duplication in public, her parents would have to make up excuses for it. "Oh yes, didn't you know? We have twins." They would say to suspecting neighbors. Eventually "twins" turned to triplets and triplets into quintuplets. Obviously excuses were running out, so they relocated from Philadelphia to New York to prevent any more suspiscion than they've already created.
Time went by and mutants seemed to be coming out proudly. This was pleasing to Penny. Though there was still some heavy racism against mutants, things just seemed to be better than what they used to be.
Mr. and Mrs. La'Croix heard word of a school for gifted youngsters. This was their chance to do something useful with Penny, since her other siblings had run away to follow their own destiny. Since applying for this school, Penny still searches for her place in this world, rather it be good or bad; her true calling is just to belong.
