Short Bio: Ember lived a friendless childhood, full of neglect and fear. No one talked to her and she never knew why. Even her parents seemed to avoid her as much as they can. Depression caused her to lock herself up for years before a Professor found her and offered her a place at his school for those with special abilites.
At first, Ember threw into an outrage, thinking everyone came together and agreed to have this man to take her to an asylum. The 'professor' protested when she voiced this outloud but Ember didn't believe him and her anger spread, increasing until the lamp beside her burst into flames.
The Professor, seeing that, immediately launched into his explanation about mutants and their powers, how his school offers sanctuary and away from humans who detest them. Ember was doubtful at first before the Professor showed her what he can do, by speaking into her mind. Surprised, Ember accidentally set the table on fire too. Once she calmed down and set everything right again, she accepted.
Now, she's been a long-time student of the school where many events have taken a pleasant, and some unpleasant, turns in her life. But still, her life and soul remains at Professor Xavier's school.
