Nightmare Group: Brotherhood Posts: 221 Member No.: 9 Joined: 20-July 07	Welcome to The Academy. And yes, it is only ever referred to as The Academy. It had a different name once, but no one liked it so it was fogotten. The Academy was originally founded back in the 1800's as a finishing school for girls. Rich English parents would send their wayward girls away to this tiny island in the middle of the ocean, hoping the isolation and strict code of conduct would turn them in functional members of society. Several generations later and it exists with a similar purpose. Rich parents from all over the world send their children away on boats and planes to this little island that exists to house the school and the thriving tourist industry. The parents believe their children are going away to get an excellent education in a safe, fappy environment. Well, they're half right. Students of The Academy get the best education money can buy; the highest quality teachers and the most up-to-date resources in a beautiful setting. Students go on to run business empires, cure diseases and rule countries. The standard is high; if you're in class you are expected to reach levels far greater than that of any other school. And if you don't reach those standards, the staff will coach and push you until you do. But a safe, happy environment? Dream on. The Headmaster reformed the school with the hope of teaching children how to survive in the real world. This is no kindergarten playground. The class system is ruthless. Only the almost perfect are allowed in the exclusive Senior Room, and only by invite of King Sax or Queen Alice. The real outcasts get banished to the Rec Room. Rec Room dwellers are the dregs of school society, and they are... Well, not happy with this, but they have accepted it, and would rather be here than anywhere else. They're tougher than you would expect from a bunch of prep schoolers. Then there's the Main Room. This is where everyone else goes. Most people here are trying to claw their way into the Senior Room, desperately trying to avoid ending up in the Rec Room. And the rest? They've been shoved down so many times they're just grateful they're still in one piece. The Academy is ruled by two very different, yet equally powerful people; Alice and Sax. They've been a team since third form, joining together to overthrow the previous leaders. To the masses they are a contented power couple; the reality is somewhat different. There is love between them, not that they would admit it to anyone [not even themselves]; but there are all manner of other dark, twisted layers to their relatoinship that no one would dare touch without an impressive psych degree. Mainly, though - they hate each other with a passion. Life at The Academy can be dark, to say the least. The girls are merciless, cuttingt each other apart with a brutality that would put most cheerbitches to shame. It's all about winning, getting the guy, being the favourite, topping the class. Rumours, sabotage, these girls will stop at nothing. The boys are even more brutal. For them, it's all about Fight Club - Sax's domain. Cruel, painful, bloody. Everyone is equal. All that matters is skill. Prove yourself worthy of respect, no one here will give it to you. Needless to say, this is all very much under lock and key; The Academy is a safe, happy environment, remember? So that's it. Stick to your place. Jump when the monarchs say jump. Never get caught.
